THE FOUNDER
Ebony Day is not only a Chicago native who is currently living in
Phoenix, AZ but has experienced the Chicago foster care system first
hand as a young child. She has been showing her compassion by becoming a foster parent and has lended a helping hand over numerous years!

“Growing up with times that to some extent would feel to be detrimental
to some and easy for others I have decided to use my story of being in
DCFS and a young teenage mother, to inspire others to remind them,
there is a Better Way and Better Day ahead.”
​
She has dedicated the last several years of her life to providing
resources to children which first kicked off in Chicago in 2010 with her
first ever toy drive. After relocating to Arizona she quickly saw a similar
need and was eager to present solutions through her own foundation,
Better Way Better Day.
